Doing Modernity is a long-form scholarly publishing venue dedicated to Critical Interactionist studies of interaction, institutions, and moral life. It publishes journal-length theoretical and empirically grounded analyses of how social order, power, and accountability are produced in everyday situations. Drawing on ethnomethodology and interactional sociology, the site treats modernity as an ongoing, situated accomplishment.
